Paula Beatrice Mateo Joya
Likewise born at St. Luke's Hospital on June 20, 1998. She stayed in the hospital for seven days after delivery due to infection of the blood. Those were the longest seven days for Sally and me.

Strongwilled even at the beginning. It seemed that no one was going to tell Paula what to do. She gave Sally a more difficult time during delivery. Good thing, Dr. Siodorra was there-- an expert on stubborn kids!

We gave her too much infant formula, I suppose. She may have started sickly, but in a few weeks time, she became very healthy!

Our favorite past time
Our family often goes biking in the CCP grounds. Paula is still small to ride those big bikes. So she has to settle with riding with Papa. |

As I've mentioned, she's getting lovlier as time passes.
